The EM2030 coalition is made up of national, regional, and global leaders from feminist networks, civil society, and international development, all committed to advancing gender equality through data-driven advocacy.

Our Coalition Members

Our global to local coalition model brings together 12 organizations with a broad range of expertise and focuses. Working across SRHR, peace and security, closing data gaps and many more issues, we are united in our mission to harness the power of data. We all believe that data has the power to expose inequality and injustice, motivate policy change and drive accountability for gender equality. Meet our members!

    ARROW

    A non-profit organization championing the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women and access to services, ARROW has worked with EM2030 to give youth advocates DDA training across Asia Pacific.

    ASOGEN

    ASOGEN is an association of women in Guatemala
    whose focus is ending violence against women. Working with EM2030, they have trained 100+ local gender advocates to access and use data to strengthen their work.

  • CLADEM

    CLADEM

    CLADEM (The Latin American and Caribbean Committee for the Defense of Women’s Rights)

    CLADEM is a network of 200 women’s organizations across 14 countries which promotes women’s rights by monitoring international treaties, proposing legislative reforms, research, training and group action.

    Data2X

    Data2X is a collaborative technical and advocacy platform, housed at the United Nations Foundation and dedicated to improving the quality, availability and use of gender data in order to make a practical difference in the lives of women and girls. Data2X works to close gender data gaps, promote expanded and unbiased gender data collection, and use gender data to improve policies, strategies and decision-making in support of gender equality.

    FEMNET

    FEMNET (The Pan African Feminist network) FEMNET uses data to ensure the voices of African women are amplified and their needs and aspirations are prioritized in key policy dialogues and outcomes.

  • GROOTS Kenya

    GROOTS Kenya

    For over 27 years GROOTS Kenya has trained grassroots advocates in using gender equality data to hold governments to account. Comprising 3,500 women-led organizations, they have been an EM2030 partner since 2017.

    KAPAL Perempuan

    KAPAL Perempuan (Alternative Education Circle for Women)

    Working with networks of women-led groups, KAPAL Perempuan gathers gender equality data. With EM2030 support they run campaigns to influence decision makers to raise the legal age of marriage for girls.

    Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. Striving for a just world, the organization works together with children, young people, supporters and partners to deliver significant change for girls and boys, putting a special emphasis on gender equality.

    Reseau Siggil Jigeen promotes and protects women’s rights in Senegal, With EM2030 support and data advocacy they have influenced resource mobilization and increased financing for reproductive health.

    Ruta Pacífica de las Mujeres

    A pacifist, feminist organization, Ruta Pacifica de las Mujeres promotes a feminist vision of peace and non-violent resistance for gender equality. Partners since 2017, they integrate the EM2030 index into advocacy work such as policy making.
