El avance en materia de igualdad de género en todo el mundo es demasiado lento y desigual. Con esto, toda la Agenda 2030 está en riesgo.

Nuestra lucha por los derechos de las mujeres y niñas es una lucha por el futuro de todas las personas. Cada aspecto del desarrollo sostenible está vinculado con el progreso en términos de igualdad de género. Casi tres cuartos (73 por ciento) de las 169 metas de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) dependen directa o significativamente de la igualdad de género. Sin embargo, en todo el mundo vemos que los Gobiernos no consideran la igualdad de género como una necesidad estratégica para un futuro realmente equitativo y sostenible para todas las personas.
