Ningún país logrará la igualdad de género antes del 2030 – CNN

(CNN) Ningún país del mundo está camino a lograr la igualdad de género para el año 2030, según el reciente Índice de Género de los ODS, que mide el estado de la igualdad de género en comparación con un conjunto de metas globales. Incluso entre los países que mejor se desempeñan, que en su mayoría son naciones nórdicas, ninguno está cerca de lograr las metas de género en 14 de los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de Naciones Unidas. Los ODS, a los que 193 países se comprometieron en 2015, son una hoja de ruta mundial para erradicar la pobreza y proteger el planeta. Su fecha límite es el año 2030.
