Ningún país del mundo está bien encaminado para lograr su objetivo de igualdad de género – Global Citizen

VANCOUVER, 3 de junio (Thomson Reuters Foundation) — Las autoridades mundiales están incumpliendo la promesa de un futuro más justo para 1400 millones de niñas y mujeres, según un índice global  lanzado en la mayor conferencia de igualdad de género del mundo.

Esta investigación muestra que el mundo está muy fuera de curso para lograr la igualdad de género para 2030: ningún país ha llegado a la “recta final”.

Alrededor de 8000 representantes de más de 165 países —desde autoridades hasta activistas— están asistiendo a la conferencia de Women Deliver en Vancouver.
