Sudáfrica con un gabinete con balance de género 

La semana pasada, el presidente sudafricano Cyril Ramaphosa anunció su nuevo gabinete, en el cual la mitad de los cargos ministeriales están ocupados por mujeres por primera vez en la historia. Sudáfrica se une a los 10 países que lograron la paridad de género en los gabinetes en todo el mundo, una lista a la que recientemente se sumaron Etiopía y Ruanda.Muchas de las nuevas ministras son caras conocidas en la vida política sudafricana, incluida Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, antigua ministra de Salud, Asuntos Exteriores y de Asuntos Interiores. Ahora dirige Gobernanza Cooperativa y Asuntos Tradicionales. La opositora Patricia de Lille está a cargo de Obras Públicas e Infraestructura y la expresidenta del Parlamento, Thoko Didiza, encabeza el Ministerio Tierras Públicas y Agricultura.
