India en el puesto 95 entre 129 países en el índice global de igualdad de género – CNBCTV18

India se clasificó en el puesto 95 entre 129 países en un nuevo índice que mide la igualdad de género en aspectos como la pobreza, la salud, la educación, el nivel de alfabetismo, la representación política y la igualdad en el ámbito laboral. 

El Índice de Género de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible fue desarrollado por Equal Measures 2030, una iniciativa con sede en Reino Unido formada por organizaciones globales y regionales como African Women’s Development and Communication Network, Asian-Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, y la International Women’s Health Coalition.
